We’re seeking the help of dental organisations across the globe to partner with us in activities leading up to our World-Cavity Free Future Day on October 14th to help spread the word on how all generations can achieve a cavity-free future.
Caries (tooth decay) is still a problem that nearly 100% of adults suffer from, and oral disease affects 3.9 billion people worldwide. The Alliance for a Cavity-Free Future is working to fight against the initiation and progression of dental caries.
Tooth decay is a disease across the life course, with each age group and generation facing different experiences. Ahead of this year’s World Cavity-Free Future Day, every year on October 14th, we’re looking to start a conversation across generations on how all ages work to take care of their teeth.
Through a video competition campaign called Smiles Across Generations, we are hoping to collect 30-second submissions from audiences across the globe to raise awareness on how we can achieve a cavity-free future. The winners of the competition will be announced on World Cavity-Free Future Day. We would love other international dental organisations’ help spreading the word about this competition to their contacts and call-for-entry to ultimately encourage cavity-free smiles across the globe.
