It’s precisely two weeks to go until we celebrate World Cavity-Free Future Day!
Around the globe, our chapters have been undertaking activities to promote Monday 14th October 2019, including:-
A huge launch by our Malaysian Chapter in Kuala Terengganu, due to be attended by The Principal Director of Oral Health, Major Gen Dato Dr Borhan (Chief of the Dental Corps of the Armed Forces) and The Director of Health of the State of Terengganu, with the programme being hosted by the Terengganu Oral Health Division – under the purview of the State Oral Health Director Dr Kamariah Seman. The event is also involving the ACFF Youth Club comprising of Dental Students and recent graduates, aimed at developing ACFF Volunteers.
Our Japanese Chapter saw an article published this month on the ACFF Japan, in the Dental Tribune (Japanese Edition). Approximately 20.000 copies were issued!
The US/Canada Chapter sponsored the Canadian Association of Public Health Dentistry (CAPHD) annual conference in Toronto, Ontario and had podium time to talk about ACFF and WCFFDay and resources with the attendees (over 150 people).
